Hello from the PTO!

Welcome new and returning Kesher Israel Parents!

We can’t wait to see you all!  We hope everyone is enjoying their summer vacation with family and friends. We are actively planning the fun 2019-2020 events for our KI children.  We are so excited to kick off another great year.  It is our goal to create lasting and heartwarming memories for you and your children during their time at Kesher Israel Preschool. We are fortunate to have a wonderful community of families and look forward to getting to know the new families joining us this year.

The PTO is an organization designed to bring parents together to meet and socialize, to facilitate communication between parents and teachers and also very importantly, to develop a network of volunteers to assist with activities and fundraisers throughout the year.  YOU are what helps KI run seamlessly throughout the school year!

Included with this letter is a list of our school events throughout the year.  There are many opportunities this year for everyone to participate. We need your help! Whether you can join us for events during school hours, in the evenings, or at home – we have it all!  Siblings, Grandparents & Nannies are welcome!  Siblings are allowed at most school events when you choose to volunteer!  PTO graciously asks for your help to volunteer to make each event successful for our children, teachers & parents! The planned Kesher Israel Preschool activities greatly benefit from the enthusiasm and efforts of our parents.  These events are only possible when we have help from volunteers to make each activity safe & successful.  Kesher Israel is a great place to network and connect while focusing on the enrichment of our children.

We will have a PTO Welcome Table set up at the New Parent Orientation/Back to School Night on Wednesday, August 28th.  We encourage you to stop by & say ‘Hello’, get more information and to sign up for these wonderful events!  On Tuesday, September 10th and Wednesday, September 11th, right after drop off, please join us in the Social Hall for light refreshments, coffee, tea & most importantly, to catch up with old friends and meet new ones!  You will also have the opportunity to sign up to help with events here, too.

In addition to these events, PTO will keep you informed through the school year with our “PTO News” section of the school’s weekly e-newsletter, direct mail, and on our PTO Bulletin Board located outside of the office.  We welcome any ideas and feedback you may have! Feel free to email ( or chat with us in person.

We look forward to seeing you this Fall and anticipate your support continuing the tradition of excellence at Kesher Israel Preschool!
