Mark Brill 2026-27

Dear Parents:

 

Let me welcome all of you to Kitah Hey!  I am Moreh Mark and I will be your child’s guide through the wonders that lie ahead this coming school year.  We have a lot to do, so……away we go!

 

In Kitah Hey, we will be covering the following topics:

1. Prayer/Hebrew
   1. We’re getting ready for a Bar/Mitzvah!
2. The Jewish Life Cycle

1. 1. We’ll be covering it all starting from birth

1. Jewish-American History

1. 1. Jewish identity and which countries well all came from

1. Israel

1. 1. The land, its people and what it means to us.

 

To keep our day running smooth, I do have some friendly reminders:

1. The school day starts at 9:30 AM.  Please try your best to be on time.
2. Please send in a dairy/pareve snack plus a drink – no soda please.
3. The siddur will be needed every Sunday morning.
4. Gentlemen MUST wear a kippah at all times – class & tefillah.
5. If your child will be absent, please email Rabbi Devorah and me.
