High Holiday Security Updates

We are glad to welcome you to Kesher Israel for the High Holy Days 2025-5786. Thank you for helping us keep our synagogue safe. We have new security protocols for services.

High Holy Days

Members

Everyone, please be certain to bring a photo ID along with your High Holy Day Ticket to Kesher Israel during all High Holy Day services. All non-member friends and extended family members must register online, even if they have been our guests before! Non-member friends and family may register here: High Holy Day Ticket Request Form 2025 – Form – Kesher Israel Congregation

Current members, with or without fobs, will be checked against our current membership list when you arrive for services. Current members DO NOT NEED to register for High Holiday services.   We will have both familiar and new members as greeters who may not recognize you. Please be understanding if they ask for your name and photo identification; this is our way of keeping you safe. Thank you for your patience.

The same protocols will be followed for Shabbat and other holiday services.

Non-Member Family and Guests

Non-members MUST register for High Holy Day services on our website prior to September 17. All non-member friends, family and guests must provide a photo ID via email prior to September 17 and must consent to a safety check and bag search to register. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Safety for our members, our Jewish community, and the greater West Chester community is our priority. If we do not have you on our list, you will not be allowed to enter the building. You are welcome to call the office prior to September 17 to be certain we have received your registration and are on our High Holy Day service list.

You can register here: High Holy Day Ticket Request Form 2025 – Form – Kesher Israel Congregation

Live Stream

We will be live streaming our High Holy Day services. You can access the livestream from the Kesher-Israel Congregation website, kesher-israel.org and clicking on the orange LIVE STREAM button at the top of the page.  We thank you and appreciate your patience as we do all we can to keep you, your loved ones, and your neighbors safe.
