Operation Isaiah

OPERATION ISAIAH HIGH HOLIDAYS FOOD DRIVE

The goal of this program is to bring people together to perform mitzvot  through community projects. Most importantly, it exists to assist people in our community who are in need.

The Operation Isaiah  High Holidays Food Drive is sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia. Food items are distributed through The Mitzvah Pantry Network. Last year almost 1850 people per month were helped.

The mission of the Mitzvah Pantry is  “to provide food and basic staples in a caring and dignified manner to those in our community who are in need, through an alliance of caring individuals, spearheaded by our synagogues and Jewish organizations”.
