As in any Jewish community, volunteers are our lifeblood, and we are blessed to have so many committed and caring members give their time and experience to Kesher Israel. Volunteering is a fulfilling and rewarding experience, and is a wonderful way to become involved in the life of our community. It is the unique talents and contributions of our volunteers that make our sacred community come to life. Whether you have an hour or two to spare (or more!), or a special idea that you would like to see happen, KI needs you. Some of the most satisfying rewards of volunteering are the wonderful friendships that are built and the sense of belonging and community that develops. By becoming an active participant in some aspect of congregational life, you enrich our community, and yourself.
As well as the committees, auxiliaries and Youth groups listed here, we have many other committees that also afford you the opportunity to become involved in the life of our community: Anniversary Committee, Budget & Finance Committee, Facilities & Grounds committee, Gardening and Landscaping committee, Membership committee, Mitzvah Corps, Preschool/Kindergarten committee, Religious Life Committee, Religious School Committee, Religious School PTO, the Technology Committee, and more.
Please contact our office to find out more about an area that interests you and let us know how we can help you become involved.
